This pains me to have to sell this but due to a divorce, I am forced to part with one of my most prized possessions. This is a 1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom in the rare and hard to find Silverburst. It is in great condition, plays and sounds wonderful. This guitar is almost 30 years old, so it has a few nicks, but it is all from 100% natural wear. This guitar is a player. Here are the details: The original bridge pick up has been replaced with an early 90's Seymour Duncan JB. The neck pick up is the original T-Top. The original pots have been replaced with CTS pots. The original pots are included with the guitar. The original hard shell case is long gone. The guitar will come with a brown gibson les paul case with the pink lining. It is in good condition. A re-fret was done last year. They were done professionally and play like a brand new guitar. In short, you are getting a 29 year old vintage guitar that plays like new. If you are a Tool fan, it definitely has that Adam Jones vibe to it and sounds the part. It kills me to have to put this up for sale. This guitar is NOT a second or blemished model. The original pick guard and "rhythm/treble" toggle grommet is also included as well. I just removed them for looks. Thank you, please ask any questions and I'm willing to snap any additional photos if needed.
