Here we have a 1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom, with the highly sought after TIM SHAW PAF's including PAF pickup rings (rarest of the rare)!!! All electronics are original and in perfect working order. This guitar is amazing considering it's 25 years old and I would rate the body condition an honest 9 out of 10 and that might be modest. There are some surface scratches on the body and neck but nothing worthy of talking about and nothing you can see unless you are scrutinizing the guitar up-close with a magnifying glass. I
tried documenting the superficial grooves and dents but they would not
come out very well in the pics (notice almost no buckle rash). You should be able to get the idea of
what I’m talking about from the pics posted – more pics will be provided
upon request (serial number also visible for verification). If you've never heard of Tim Shaw pick ups do yourself a favor ad look them up. Here's a random video off of youtube just to give you an idea of what to expect from these pickups as some consider these to be the closest thing to the renowned 1959 PAF's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-Pp5FT23vs As if this wasn't already and great package we have a near mint ORIGINAL Gibson Protector "Chainsaw" case with blue interior. One final, MAJOR bonus, the frets were professionally replaced and leveled on this guitar with Dunlop 6100 jumbo frets
($400 value) and have no wear on them. The tension and feel on this guitar is amazing as it was just set up by the premier luthier in the Atlanta metro area. Do not hesitate to contact me with any and all questions. Also, feel free to make an offer as all offers will be considered. Shipping is FREE but only to the lower 48 Continental UNITED STATES. If you live outside of the lower 48 US States your bid will be canceled. I will not ship anywhere else so don't waste your time by asking. Paypal only. Check out my feedback. It's been 100% for over 10 years and most of the activity is on high end Gibson's (Les Paul's mainly and a few cars) so bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck....
