Beautiful Custom-made LP guitar from the 1980's (I think...there is no serial # or markings, other than the "W" on the headstock). Possibly MIJ or a Custom order from the USA.
You would pay $8,000+ to order something like this from the Gibson Custom Shop; get it here for less!
Like a cross between an LP and an LP Jr., this guitar has a single bridge humbucker and single volume control. Gold hardware, beautiful cream finish with binding, and 24 FRET fingerboard for a full 2 octaves on each string!
The pickup is a brand new Seymour Duncan "Hot" P-Rails. It is mounted in a Triple Shot mounting ring which has two little buttons that can give you series, parallel, P-90 coil, or rail coil. 4 different tones with only one pickup! Cleans up well when rolling back on the volume knob.
Built from Mahogany with a maple cap, this is a solid and substantial guitar in good condition for its age. Some wear marks on finish and on frets, but overall in beautiful playing condition!
