1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom Alpine White Condition: Excellent condition
1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom finished in Alpine white, that has nicely yellowed, Alla Randy Rhoads color is in excellent condition and perfect playing order. This guitar was a factory second, which back in the day was just a finish flaw, which could never be found. the knobs were changed out and the strap buttons were replaced with schaller strap lock buttons, everything else is all original. The solder joints were never touched this guitar was just played and loved. The pickups are t-top pat# stamped with a stamped date of November 1979 on both pickups. This beauty weighs in at a whopping 10lbs 15oz. She's got some lacquer checking on the edges of the neck heel and the front, back, and sides of the headstock. Also, there's a lacquer check on the top where the seam of the top wood is that runs by the volume and tone knobs. On the edges of the headstock there is some discoloration from a guitar stand and also some slight discoloration on the back of the neck from the same kind of stand. This beauty has no dents, dings paint scrapes, belt buckle rash, Nothing of the sort .. This guitar was well taken care of for is 30 years. The original frets are still in great condition and there is lots of life left on em. This guitar has lots of personality and comes with the 80's Gibson Protector case.
